I'm glad you dig it. Really, the comic has just been used for promotional purposes thus far. I do plan on doing another one (full length this time) in the future. The beetle guy is Miguju, an ugly space monster, and the one on the right is Durontus, the Nessie/Godzilla thing. There's more info here: www.durontus.com.
